The idea behind Xindesk was born in late 2005 in Stockholm, Sweden. The team behind Xinteleport, the technical foundation on which Xindesk is built was contacted and joined the team. The development started in early 2006 and the company was formally founded. The Xin Company develop three products, the WebOS Xindesk, the underlying technical foundation Xinteleport and the sync client Xinsync. The XIN Company occupies just under 10 people and is privately held. Ted Persson holds the position of CEO and Mikael Bergqvist is the lead developer.
